I can’t believe it’s been a little over three months since I’ve had my septo-rhinoplasty and facial fat transfer with Dr. Christopher Khorsandi. My nose has settled more and appears less swollen, as does the fat in my face.

I knew making the decision to undergo cosmetic surgery would bring upon a series of challenges physically as well as psychologically. Postoperative depression is a common side effect to surgery and affects a range of people, not just those undergoing cosmetic surgery.

In a previous post I discussed facial harmony and my desire for achieving it through a rhinoplasty and fat transfer under my eyes. I feel it’s important to be transparent about cosmetic treatments and procedures in order to eliminate doubt that any changes I make are natural.
